More restaurants on my trip to California...
Since I went to California just a few days after the beginning of the new year, it was a great opportunity to get some new restaurants under my belt...
Uva Bar wasn't the only new restaurant at Disneyland that I tried on my little trip. My cousin and I also had dinner at La Brea Bakery in Downtown Disney. The best part of the whole dinner was the fact that we could see the fireworks from the special "Remember the Magic" show that Disney put on in honor of their 50th birthday celebration. We had a couple of killer sandwiches and all the tea we could drink, then waddled on home...
The next day I actually managed to make it to two new restaurants: Foxfire in Anaheim Hills, and King's Fish House in Lake Forest. We hit Foxfire for their Sunday brunch, and managed to stuff ourselves silly. After spending a few hours recovering from the early morning champagne (not exactly high caliber, unfortunately), my cousin and I went to King's for dinner. It was pretty good (kind of a better-quality Joe's Crab Shack) with a killer all-California wine list.
Four new restaurants in as many days? Not too shabby....
